About Lisa Coleman

Lisa has over 20 years of experience in talent management and development including executive coaching, leadership development, leadership and succession planning, and talent acquisition. Along with providing a broad range of coaching and talent management services, Lisa also engages in board advisory and facilitation projects. She serves public and private companies, as well as several large national and international non-profits.


Lisa's coaching is individualized to meet clients' and organizations' specific needs. Using evidence-based frameworks, assessments, and 360-degree feedback, Lisa designs engagements focused on developing individual capabilities and achieving organizational performance goals. Her experience includes all ages and stages of career and leadership development, from students to senior managers and executives to individuals who are preparing for retirement.

Prior to starting her coaching and advisory firm, Lisa served as a Managing Director at a leading global executive search and leadership development firm, Russell Reynolds Associates. Along with recruiting board, C-suite and executive level talent for a variety of clients, she mentored and coached new consultants hired from industry. Prior, she served as Human Capital Partner for Maveron, a consumer only venture capital firm, and as a Partner at Korn/Ferry International. Lisa also worked as a Career Advisor at Rice University, helping undergraduates, graduate students and alumni develop plans to achieve meaningful careers.


Lisa currently serves as a Board Director for Central Garden & Pet (NASDAQ: CENT), a market leader in the Garden and Pet industries.


Lisa earned a BS in Psychology from the University of Florida and completed graduate studies and an Organizational and Leadership Coaching Certification at Northwestern University. She holds an ACC credential from the International Coach Federation, is a member of the National Career Development Association and is certified in a suite of Hogan assessments used for career transitions, talent development and selection.
